We develop medicines across a broad range of therapeutic areas and pharmaceutical dosage forms, delivering our products to patients on five continents. Every product within our portfolio has been developed through our own research and development capabilities, something we take great pride in.

Supported by one of Türkiye's leading teams in generic drug development, we contribute to scientific and technological advancement while helping strengthen the country's pharmaceutical ecosystem. Through years of dedicated research, we have introduced numerous new molecules and generic medicines to the Turkish pharmaceutical market. .

By applying the latest technologies throughout product development, we accelerate the delivery of strategically important medicines, bring them to market efficiently and continue setting new industry benchmarks. In doing so, we improve access to complex therapies and contribute to the long-term sustainability of healthcare.

Beyond conventional pharmaceutical products, our multidisciplinary teams also develop niche medicines designed to address evolving patient needs. Our R&D manufacturing capabilities cover a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical dosage forms, including: Solid Dosage Forms, Tablets, Film-Coated Tablets, Enteric-Coated Tablets, Modified-Release Tablets Chewable Tablets, Pellets, Capsules, Powder for Oral Suspension
Semi-solid Dosage Forms (Creams, Ointments, Lotions, Gels)
Liquid Dosage Forms (Syrups, Gargles, Sprays)
Sterile Dosage Forms (Ampoules, Vials, Parenteral Products)

In addition to conventional generic medicines, our Research & Development activities focus on developing:

Combination products,
Innovative solid dosage forms utilizing advanced manufacturing technologies, including bilayer and trilayer tablets, capsule-in-capsule formulations, and pellet tablets, and
Orally Disintegrating Tablet (ODT) products. We develop these projects with the goal of achieving first-generic status for Türkiye, the United States, Canada, Europe, and global markets.

Through our Quality by Design (QbD) approach, we develop pharmaceutical products for highly regulated markets while contributing to improved patient access to innovative therapies worldwide.

2016
At the 5th R&D Centers Summit, we were recognized by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology with the First Prize in Intellectual Property Competency.
In addition, we received the First Prize in the Pharmaceutical Industry for our outstanding performance in R&D Center activities.
2017
At the 6th R&D and Design Centers Summit, we were honored with the First Place Award in the Pharmaceutical Industry for the second consecutive year.
2020
At the 8th International Medicinal Chemistry Congress R&D Awards, Sanovel received the First Prize in the Pharmaceutical Company with the Highest Number of Patent Applications category.
2021
At the 11th International Medicinal Chemistry Awards, Sanovel ranked 2nd in the Pharmaceutical R&D Trademark Count category.
2023
At the 12th International Medicinal Chemistry Awards, Sanovel ranked 1st both National Patent Count and Pharmaceutical R&D Trademark Count.
2024
Sanovel ranked 1st in the Pharmaceuticals category for the number of national patents granted through its R&D Center; and 2nd for trademark registrations.
